What are incoming orders?
this main list will show you ALL orders your customers placed via MarketMan.
You can filter the list using the options at the top, examine the order details and export the orders to your accounting software!
HOW TO ACCEPT AN ORDER - Step by Step
- Go to "Orders" > "Orders list"
Here's you'll see a list of all incoming orders. You can sort this list by many parameters, both using the top bar or the individual sorting options on the columns: - Click on "View" for the order you'd like to view and accept.
The order details page will open up. - From here, you can print the order, reject it if needed, or (most common) - create a delivery note for the shipping:
- When you click to create a delivery note, the draft will open up and you'll be able to change the quantities or prices as needed!
- If you need to add a new item to the delivery note, you can easily do it by searching the item name in the "add" section:
Don't forget to hit "confirm" - otherwise the note will stay as "draft"!
HOW TO EXPORT ORDERS TO ACCOUNTING - Step by Step!
- You must connect your accounting software to MarketMan first!
If you're using Xero - we created an article just for you! check it out. - Once connected, before exporting we need to set up the customers.
This is a one-time setup.
Go to "Customers" > "Customers", and click on the customer name. - Scroll down to the accounting part, under "accounting name" you should have the customer's name in the accounting system.
Depending on your system you will either enter it manually (best would be to copy&paste from the accounting software) or select it from a drop-down list.
Do this for all of your customers! - Go to "Orders" > "Orders list" and select the orders you want to export.
You can use the search boxes and filtering options with the select all button on the top left to do it in a few clicks!
Then click on "Export to..{accounting Software}" on the top:
