How do I control the customer catalog? - Commissary Assortments

 

What is Assortments doing? 

The Assortment feature in the CPK/Commissary is allowing you to control the products that will be included in the customer's catalog- this is the perfect way to create different levels of availability (based on locations, licensing, local regulations, etc.

HOW TO SET / EDIT ASSORTMENTS- Step by Step
  1. Go to "Customers" > "Assortments"
    Then click on "Add" to create a new one, or click on the assortment name to edit an existing.

  2. Change the assortment name - make it as easy as possible to understand what's included.
    Examples could be "No alcohol" or "Halal" as well as "North" vs "South".

  3. Naturally, most of your assortments will include many items, buy if you have one for only a few of them, you can easily search the item name and tick the box next to it to include in the customers' catalog.
    Once you're ready to check your final catalog, you can click on "Only checked" at the top, to view only the final items that will be included:

    Don't forget to hit "save"!
HOW TO CHANGE CUSTOMER ASSORTMENT
  1.  Go to "Customers" >"Customers"
    Click on the customer name to open the pop-up

  2. Scroll down to the assortment part and select the desired assortment from the drop-down.
    Don't forget to hit "save"!

Is your customer complaining about not seeing items on the catalog / the ordering screen?

Head to the customer setup and make sure ALL 4 settings are saved for this customer:
- Assortment
- Price level
- Sales rep
- Delivery rule
