What are users?

Every person working with MarketMan should have their own user. All users can see other tasks that were done in the account, so you can work together but still have clarity of who did what

Why should I use it?
  1. Easily follow up on tasks with the relevant parties

  2. Control account permissions
for example: who is authorized to delete a count, make a payment, view recipes, etc.

HOW TO - Step by Step

Go to "Settings" > "Manage Users".
To add a new user, click "Add" on the top right.
To edit an existing user, click on the username:

You'll now be able to enter/edit any user details

  1. Username and Password:
The username has to be unique, so we suggest using your email or phone number as the username.
A password can be anything you want!
  2. Email
This will be used to send you important emails like password-reset, or if a supplier didn't open your order.
  3. Name and phone number
Make sure to enter your number with no dashes or () - just the numbers.
Your phone number will be used for emergency alerts- like if you're running out of something, or if your supplier didn't see your order.
  4. User Type
See below for full user list

  1. For "Manager" type users, under "Personal settings" you can find the daily email option. This is a great way to help every user stay on top of their work and get a summary every day/week.
Take a moment to check it out and set it up.

  2. Depending on your locale, you can choose from the available languages.
This will turn your account to the selected language, so the titles and navigation will not be in English anymore.
Once applied, you should log out and log back in for it to take effect.

Setting users for multiple-location chains (HQ)
  1.  In the HQ -
When you go to "Settings" > "Manage users" - would add users to the HQ itself
For the HQ we have two additional types of users: Chain Manager and Regional Manager.
See below for user permissions breakdown

  2. To add users for a specific location -
    Go to "Settings" > "Buyers"
Then click on "Edit users" next to the name of the location you want to add the user to.

Extra tips - from the experts!
  •  Most "Employee" type users in MarketMan work solely on the app, completing daily tasks like ordering, scanning, counting and logging waste, for the managers to double-check and run reports.
  • Once you're saving a new user that you just added, you'll be able to send them a welcome text message with a link to download the app!

  • Important to know: If the user who created the weekly schedule is deleted from the account, the schedule will be deactivated.
